SLEEPROLLERS

SO… I finally gave in. After admiring the fabulous tresses of the TOWIE and Desperate Scousewives girls, i just had to try the SLEEPROLLERS for myself. For those of you not in the know, SLEEPROLLERS are basically just your normal rollers only they are made from foam and  theoretically you can sleep in them, and then in the morning- VOILA!- Fabulous tresses!

At £20 a bag (for 20 rollers) its pretty cheap, and a relatively low maintenance way to achieve good hair. They tell you to roll them into dry hair and secure with a bobby pin, and to be fair they feel pretty secure in your hair.

I sprayed a little hairspray over my hair after I’d finished rolling it all up, as I have really long, thick hair so its pretty hard to keep it in any style for very long! I have to say they are not comfortable to sleep in,  its definitely doable but you kinda have to stay in the same position all night cause it takes a while to find a comfy spot!

It the morning I woke up & rolled them out (It took a while, and my hair easily got caught trying to roll them out, next time I might try using less hair on each roller) and this is what I ended up with:

I was pretty happy with how it turned out, big soft waves and loads of volume. If you’re looking for tighter, more defined curls then I would def stick with the hot rollers, but for day time hair with a bit of oompf then these are the way to go. Next time I try them I will leave my hair a little bit damp before putting them in, and maybe use some curling product before to ensure the curls stay put all day.

Def give them a try

The Chelsea Teapot

Today we had a fabulous afternoon tea at The Chelsea Teapot in the fabulous borough of Chelsea. It was like stepping back in time, all the shelves were covered in flowered teapots (kinda like what’s in your Nana’s cupboard!) with loads of beautiful picture frames and treats and cupcakes covering the entire front window.

We could pic our tea from the list (I chose Vanilla) and we were given a two tiered stand with tiny sandwiches and plain scones with Jam and cream. It was lovely!

We then got to pick a cake of our choice… of course I went for the cupcakes! The staff were super friendly and I would go back in a second! yum yum xx
